Customs Clearance Services
Williams Global Freight / Gary Williams Customs Agency are licensed by the Australian Customs Service to operate as Customs Brokers at all ports within Australia. We operate an in-house EDI system which communicates through ftp directly with the Customs system. The EDI system is backed up with direct internet access to the Customs Interactive System.
We employ two full time Customs Brokers with over 50 years industry knowledge, our Brokers are all AQIS accredited for the AQIS barrier programs.
We offer clearance services for Air Cargo, Sea Cargo, and Postal shipments. In addition to normal cargo clearances we have clients that utilise our services for the clearance of hand carried baggage. If you travel and hand carry commercial goods back into Australia, we may be able to assist.
In addition to Customs Clearance services we are able to advise on the correct classification of goods, and the duty payable. Other Customs services we offer include Refund Applications for refunds of overpaid Customs Duty and the preparation of Drawback Claims for the refund of Customs Duty paid on Imported goods (not used in Australia), that have been exported form Australia, for more information please contact us.
